A reputable private company is seeking to employ experienced self-motivated professionals to fill the following vacancy: Accounts/Finance Manager

Job Description

•   Reporting to the Managing Director, the Accounts/Finance Manager is responsible for discharging the accounting and Finance role of the company and shall
•   Establish and maintain the financial systems and procedures of all departments
•   Ensure that the accounting systems and procedures provide an appropriate financial framework to guide corporate decision making
•   Prepare financial statements and reports to Board, Management and statutory bodies
•   Maintain contact and liaise with bankers, auditors etc to ensure long term financial security and stability of the company
•   Prepare annual budgets and forecasts aligned to corporate strategic plans
•   Manage and maintain fixed assets register
•   To manage the payroll system
•   Ensure and maintain compliance with company's tax requirements
•   To manage treasury to maximise earnings

Qualification Required & Experience

•   An MBA in Business Administration (Accounting option) and/or professional Accounting qualification, ACCA, ICA, CPA
•   Minimum of 6 years of post qualification experience 3 of which should have been in a managerial position

Experience

•   Computer literate and conversant with any financial accounting software
•   Must possess strong leadership qualities
•   Strong analytical skills
•   Good verbal and communication skills
