The audit senior is responsible for applying technical skills to carry out audit tasks under the supervision of audit managers. She/He must be able to display knowledge of audit imperatives, application of IFRS,GAAP, ISAs and other audit applications.

Qualification Required & Experience

To be eligible for this role, candidates must:

• Have a Bachelor's Degree (minimum second class division)
• Be a qualified member of ICAG or ACCA
• Have a minimum of 3 years of experience

Person Specifications

Candidate must have:

• The ability to maintain high degree of confidentiality as role involves dealing with client information
• Basic knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, ISAs and other audit applications
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office software programmes
• The ability to plan and prioritize work workloads in order to meet agreed deadlines
• Good organizational and planning skills
• Strong analytical, technical and research skills
• The ability to take initiative, be proactive and forward thinking
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail skills
