A reputable organization invites applications for the position of a Deputy Director, MIS who will be responsible for the day-to-day tactical management of ICT services provided in the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the security and maintenance of the organisation's information systems
• Advice senior management on trends information technology and present proposals to make the organisation's resources competitive and relevant
• Lead the identification of the organisation's ICT needs and propose solutions that result in expansion of current information systems
• Manage the design and development of software for various users or user groups as required
• Manage system implementation activities, including certification testing of various software products
• Ensure system implementation projects meet technical, time-frame and cost objectives
• Lead the conduct of audits and take corrective action

Qualification Required & Experience

• Must hold a First Degree preferably in Computer Science or Systems Engineering or a related discipline from a recognized University, plus a professional certification will be an advantage
• A Masters degree qualification in a related discipline is desirable
• Must have not less than 10 years post qualification relevant working experience, 3 years of which must been at management level in a similar role
