Job Vacancy For Field Supervisor (HSE) At Eni Ghana Exploration & Production



Job Description

Main responsibilities:

•   To assist the HSEQ & CI Department in inspecting and supervising the different on/offshore operations and activities on site.
•   Assure the respect and compliance with HSE policies,   procedures  and   requirements.
•   Maintain and assure correct implementation of Company HSE IMS system. HSE reporting
•   Assist   the   HSE   Coordinator   in   the preparation and implementation of field HSE programs and schedules,
•   Supervision   of   on/offshore   operations assuring HSE compliance.
•   Participate in the investigation, review and analysis of incidents and accidents making recommendations  and implementing corrective actions,
•   Ensure frequent emergency exercises and drills are conducted to ensure the highest level of preparedness in case of emergency,
•   Maintain records of such drills, providing recommendations for emergency response improvements;
•   Carries out regular inspections of firefighting, safety and emergency response equipment/facilities/procedures.
•   Assist in developing and implementing field location emergency response procedures and evacuation plans
•   Supervise on-site  doctors and  medical emergency  response preparation  and implementation;
•   Monitoring and evaluation of health, safety and environmental systems
•   Ensure that operations employees, contractors and site visitors receive HSE inductions for theatre operations;
•   Responsible for preparing written Field HSE reports and statistics on a regular basis (daily, weekly, monthly as required)
•   Reports to the HSE Coordinator.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Must have an Engineering / Technical Bachelor's Degree,
•   3-5 years relevant experience
•   Supervision skills.
•   Ability to be a team player, frequent interaction with other disciplines and third parties.
•   High ability to work effectively with people from multiple cultures and backgrounds.
•   High level of professional and personal integrity.
•   Very good ability to work independently when required
•   Work under pressure to meet deadlines and time constraints
•   Good degree of computer literacy in Microsoft Office programs.
•   Good fluency in written and spoken English, particularly for contract terminology.
