Supervisor: Head, Business Promotion and Development

Job Summary:

•   The Head of Corporate Banking is charged with overall responsibility of managing the bank's overall global relationship with the corporate.
•   S/he will give overall direction and supervise the Corporate Business.
•   The successful candidate will have the strategic vision and technical skills necessary to respond to the dynamic environment in the country.

Key Responsibilities:

•   Oversee the formulation and implementation of the corporate banking strategy
•   Develop the marketing and sales strategies of corporate banking with a focus on growing the business volumes, customer base and income
•   Spearhead the development of corporate banking products and services
•   Manage and maintain existing customer relationships as well as develop new relationships
•   Liaise with Asset Management to ensure a good deposit mix so as to achieve maximum yields on the fund
•   Develop and implement a focused, efficient and effective customer service frameworks which will increase the flow of business from existing customers and generate from new customers
•   Establish close working relationship with other financial institutions in the country to deepen partnership
•   Organise, manage and motivate the available human capital within the corporate banking unit through the implementation of capacity development programmes to optimise competence and productivity
•   Build and maintain client relations by attending to enquiries, resolving queries and providing relevant information
•   Prepare and submit weekly, monthly and quarterly business reports
•   Carry out any other tasks assigned by management

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Bachelor's Degrees in any discipline
•   Master's Degree or Banking professional certification is an added advantage
•   At least ten (10) years of post qualification experience in corporate banking or relationship management
•   A minimum of six (6) year's experience in a senior management role in the banking sector
•   Demonstrate strong strategic orientation
•   Excellent customer service relationship management
•   Experience in product development and portfolio management for clientele
•   Experience in customer financial market
