Job Vacancy For Mechanic At Keegan Resources Ghana Ltd

Position: MECHANIC

Key Responsibilities:

•   Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on machinery;
•   Repair Toyota light vehicles(LDV’s) according to manufacturer's specification and company standards;
•   Repair of Liebherr Cranes, Telehandlers, scissor pickups and other lifting equipment;
•   Troubleshoot and repair machinery and equipment to ensuring high availability;
•   Ensure optimization of mechanical equipment;
•   Advise on the correct utilization of equipment;
•   Maintain a clean working area;
•   Undertake general routine mechanical works and repairs;
•   Ensure that all tasks are performed in accordance with the Company’s Safety & Health and Environmental Policies and procedures;
•   Performs any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by supervisor.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Mechanical Engineering Technician (MET I) Certificate or Technical Institute Certificate;
•   Professional and Technical knowledge in Mechanical and Automation;
•   Certificate in CAT and other heavy and lifting equipment;
•   Basic knowledge in Instrumentation will be an added advantage;
•   Minimum of three (3) years’ post qualification work experience as a Mechanic in the Mining industry;
•   A valid Ghanaian driver’s license;
•   Excellent Diagnostic skill;
•   Knowledge of standard materials, tools and equipment;
•   Ability to troubleshoot auto electrical & hydraulic equipment.
