Job Summary

The project officer will assist the Chief Project officer and senior project manager(s) in undertaking all construction projects

Role Responsibilities

•   Act as an assistant to CPO/SPMs throughout the different project stages
•   Assist in developing project plans and resources needed to deliver on projects
•   Assist in supervising site teams and ensuring timely delivery of projects
•   Act as a liaison between site workers/suppliers and senior project team members (where necessary)
•   Assist in ensuring health & safety standards are met and report any discrepancies to superiors for correction
•   Assist in preparing progress reports on projects to management
•   Any other responsibility assigned by CPO/SPMs

Qualification Required & Experience

Background, Skills & Attributes

•   HND or University Degree in Engineering, Building Construction or related field
•   Professional qualification in project management is desirable
•   At least 2 years business experience in the real estate or construction industry
•   Good business communication and presentation skills
•   Ability to work to deadlines and manage time effectively
•   Ability to work effectively in a team
•   An active interest in construction / real estate
•   Ready to travel when needed
