The Golden Beach Hotels (GH Ltd), Parent company of three reputable Ghanaian owned Hotels located in Greater Accra, Central and Western Regions is seeking to recruit the following positions:

Job Title: General Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Oversees the hotel operations as per the Organizational chart and provides effective leadership to hotel team members
• Ensures full compliance to hotel operating controls, SOP's policies, procedures and service standards
• Leads all key property issues, including capital projects, customer service and refurbishment,
• Responsible for the preparation, presentation and subsequent achievement of the hotel's annual operating budget budget, marketing & sales plan and capital budget
• Manages ongoing basis profitability of the hotel, ensuring revenue and guest satisfaction targets are met and exceeded
• Delivers hotel budget goals and sets other short and long-term strategic goals
• Develops improvement actions and carries out costs savings
• A strong understanding of P&L statements and the ability to react with impactful strategies
• Closely monitor business reports on a daily basis and take decisions accordingly
• Ensures monthly financial outlooks for rooms, food & beverage, Admin & General are on target and accurate
• Maximise room yield and hotel revenue through innovative sales practices and yield management programmes
• Prepares a monthly financial reporting for management and the board
• Helps in the procurement of operating supplies and equipment and contacting with third-party vendors for essential equipment and services
• Coordinates with HOD's for the execution of all activities and functions

Qualification Required & Experience

• A university degree in Hotel Management or a related field with experience in opening, managing or re-positioning a hotel with clear track record
• At least 10 to 15 years experience in the hospitality industry, with significant luxury and international experience, ideally, including experience in remote locations
• And 4 to 5 years of experience as a General Manager or Asst. General Manager in a 3 or 4 star hotel
