We play an integral role in the financial services industry by providing IT solutions and support specifically in the payments systems area. We are seeking to recruit highly motivated and experienced individuals as: Head of Information Technology

Core Areas of Responsibility

Reporting to the General Manager of Technology & Operations, you will

• Assist in developing the company's IT strategy and annual operational plan, ensuring alignment with organisational strategy and direction for implementation
• Lead in the deployment and implementation of the company's IT policies and procedures in accordance with the IT strategy, general legislation and best practice
• Ensure the efficient, secure and effective operation and performance of the company's service delivery infrastructure
• Ensure effective implementation and maintenance of company's disaster recovery plan and back-up strategy
• Ensure the efficient management and support of the organisation's communication systems (including WAN, LAN and telephony systems)
• Provide organisation-wide IT systems, tools, training and support

Qualification Required & Experience

• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering. A Master's in Computer Science will be an advantage
• 5 years experience working in an IT management role, a minimum of 3 years of which must have been in the financial services sector
• Experience in IT Business Process Design, Advanced Networking and Database Administration would be an advantage
