A start-up vehicle inspection company is seeking candidates to fill the following vacant position: Head, IT (MIS and Statistics)

Job Summary

•   The Head of IT will be responsible for managing and coordinating all information technology functions of the company. S/he will report to the Facility Manager.

Duties

•   Ensure the smooth running of the computer network and all of the computer equipment at the premises
•   Ensure all links across the company and to the regulator are continuously up and running
•   Ensure appropriate data and systems security
•   Maintain an efficient and effective record and data management system for the company
•   Ensure the continuous maintenance of computer software and hardware, including file servers, monitors printers, scanners and other ancillary equipment
•   Assist and provide support for the preparation of standard forms for collating data
•   Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Facility Manager from time to time.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   University Degree in Computer Science, information technology or management information systems
•   At least five(5) years professional experience
•   Ability to work under pressure and with minimum supervision
•   Team player
•   Strong standards of integrity and ability to manage confidential data
