Keegan Resources Ghana Ltd. (“KRGL”) is a fully-­?owned subsidiary of Asanko Gold Inc., a company
which is building the Asanko Gold Mine, Ghana’s next goldmine. The vision of Asanko is to become a mid-tier gold mining company that maximizes value for all stakeholders.

KRGL is seeking to employ a qualified person to fill the role below. This is a permanent position with a competitive work roster resident in a single status camp environment. The camp’s facilities include fully serviced air-conditioned rooms, Wi-Fi access, laundry service, wet mess, sporting facilities (swimming pool, gym, volleyball/basketball, tennis, pool tables, table soccer, soccer grounds). Remuneration package includes attractive salary and performance based incentive payments.

Position: ICT Officer

Key Responsibilities:

•   Providing ICT technical support and customer service;
•   Providing support for server/systems administration;
•   Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications;
•   Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks;
•   Troubleshooting system and network problems;
•   Administering Active Directory/Exchange Infrastructure;
•   Supporting the roll-out of new applications;
•   Providing mining application system support;
•   Managing a centralized support helpdesk;
•   Establishing a good working relationship with ICT users and other professionals;
•   Providing desktop and laptop security; and
•   Providing Technical support for site radio and telephone communication systems

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Information Communication Technology;
•   Minimum of six(6) years’ working experience in a similar position in a mine or related industry;
•   Good Understanding of Active Directory 2003/2008 infrastructure and Exchange services;
•   Good Understanding of Virtualization technology with practical experience;
•   Good Understanding of an industry standard Backup and recovery system;
•   Good understanding of wireless radio communication;
•   Good understanding of ICT Service Delivery management and Device management;
•   Understanding of ICT general controls on security and facility management;
•   Good working relationship with ICT users and other professionals;
•   Ability to interact with people of diverse cultures and backgrounds;
•   Well-developed oral and written communication skills; and
•   Must possess a valid Ghanaian driving license;
