Job Summary

•   To deliver high quality teaching on a range of courses in an appropriate area of the curriculum
•   To implement curriculum and course development within the area of work
•   To develop schemes of work (SOW) /materials in line with course aims, objectives, mode of assessment and accreditation
•   To contribute effectively to teamwork
•   To work with the course team to review the course and participate in the College quality assurance cycle
•   To attend regular course team meetings and to offer and provide support to team

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Ability to deliver high quality teaching and learning
•   Ability to teach students with a range of abilities
•   Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
•   Ability to deliver effective tutoring strategies
•   Commitment to working as part of a team
•   Ability to plan schemes of work, and assessments
•   Ability to organise work and keep accurate records
•   Awareness of current trends in Further Education and recent curriculum developments
•   An understanding of health and safety requirements of a working
