A reputable Non-Bank Financial Institution in Accra (Finance House) invites applications for the positions of IT Officer

Job Summary

•   The IT Officer will assist the IT Manager in managing the company's IT infrastructure in delivering IT support services to the company.

Responsibilities:

•   Perform preventive maintenance duties on information system assets within the organisation which will include both hardware and software maintenance.
•   Monitor and maintain general ICT cosumable stock to ensure adequate supplies are available in a timely and cost effective manner ensuring Best Value at all times.
•   Perform tasks aimed at ensuring compliance with the company's information systems policy
•   support the roll-out of new applications

Qualification Required & Experience

•   At least first degree level or HND level certification in computer science, computer engineering or related field from a recognised tertiary institution
•   Demonstrated knowledge of relational database management systems (Oracle, MS SQL, etc)
•   Knowledge of some computer programming language (PHP, SQL, VB, etc)
•   Demonstrated knowledge of IT hardware and software maintenance and repair
•   Familiarity with software and applications used in the Financial Service industry will be an added advantage
•   Strong ethical standards and high level of integrity
•   Two years experience in a similar capacity
