Job Description

• Reporting to the Operations Superintendent (FPSO KNK / FPSO JAM) in our Accra company office

Duties & Responsibilities

Operations coordinator works together with the Operations Superintendent (TEN / KNK) to learn from and assist with:

• Contribute to a positive working environment with a continued commitment to safety & assist the O&M Managers in the implementation of the business strategy, localisation strategy and planning activities to achieve agreed targets to these standards and for HSEQ adherence, and development of FPSO operations culture.
• To support FPSO safety guidance for FMS / OMF and MIMMS & CAPAs / EMEX actions assigned to Management areas of the business
• Acting as and coverage as required or delegated for Operations Superintendents when necessary via handover of authority as required for coverage issues
• That the operations policy is managed in accordance with the Client's business plan and to ensure the continued development of an operations plan(s) appropriate to the facilities.
• To support the O&M Manager in the management of operational and maintenance budget, prepare cost estimates as required, control of costs
• Company and Client KPIs and adherence to the Company Localisation Plan for offshore crew.

Qualification Required & Experience

• Bachelor Degree in relevant engineering discipline. Desirable Mechanical / Facilities Engineering.
• 6 x years' experience in the hydrocarbon or offshore oil & gas industry. With at least 3 x years involved in an FPSO role preferred
• Able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of the relevant Ghanaian and International standards applicable to the oil & gas industry, and how they relate specifically to the FPSO facility operations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Planning skills
• High level of computer literacy in office packages, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
