Job Vacancy For Production Coordinator



A leading Oil & Gas Company is looking for qualified candidates for the following position, based in Accra: Production Coordinator

Job Purpose:

To provide support to the Production & Maintenance Manager and to Commissioning & Start Up Manager, in order to ensure plant operation ability and asset integrity. To also provide support for the safe and smooth commissioning, start-up and ramp-up, to reach operating levels in particular operations readiness activities.

Main responsibilities:

• Support to the Production & Maintenance Manager for the implementation of OR&A Programme (Operational Readiness and Assurance Programme), and relevant Management Execution Plan.
• Support for the definition of production Organisational structure (Manpower and Training Plan)
• Preparation of detailed contractual strategy for operating phase
• Support for the development of operations AIM (Asset Integrity Management) strategy and system, ensuring AIM system readiness
• Support in obtainment of permits and approvals from authorities
• Support for facilities and wells & reservoir plan development
• Facilities model review
• Operability, Maintainability, Reliability Compliance reviews
• Support for the preparation of Start Up strategy and definition of Handover activities
• Support for HSE activities
• Support for the updating and tuning of OPEX estimate
• Participation of Operations Commissioning Team
• Asset data and documentation gathering and organisation
• Support for Handover package preparation
• Participation in Punch List preparation
• Planning and execution of pre-start-up reviews

Qualifications Required & Experience

• Degree in Engineering or similar.
• 12 years of Oil & Gas industry experience in both onshore and/or offshore facilities, of which 5 years in Project management activities.
• Management skills advanced courses
• Economics basic courses
• Petroleum Engineering course
• Oil & Gas surface production facilities course
• Maintenance professional courses
• Project Management
• Asset Integrity Management
• Fluent knowledge of English
