The Ghana Institute of Journalism invites applications from suitably qualified persons to fill the following vacant position:

• Senior Lecturers
• Lecturers

We seek journalism faculty to teach introductory and advanced courses in the applicant's area of expertise. In addition, the successful faculty must be able to effectively teach theory, research methods and development communication. A demonstrated appetite for research and publishing is essential

The new faculty member will also be expected to involve undergraduate students to involve undergraduate students in collaborative research projects. We are committed to excellence in teaching and encourage interdisciplinary interests among faculty.

Areas / Discipline:

• Journalism (Print, Electronic, Online)

Qualification Required & Experience

• Doctor of Philosophy (PhD/DPhil) in Journalism
• Applicants must have taught for at least 2 years.
• Successful applicants shall teach, conduct research and supervise students projects/dissertations
