A waste processing company is seeking to engage the services of a Quality control, Environment and Research Manager. The individual must be knowledgeable in composting. He/She must ensure that all processes and products of the plant meet required quality standards as well as all environmental requirements as they relate to the organisation.

Duties and Responsibilities

•   Develop and/or document policies, procedures, plans, standards and strategies in respect of quality control and environmental management within the organisation, including the maintenance and implementation of same
•   Monitor and document performance of the organisation with respect to all standards, policies and procedures as they relate to activities, outcomes and products.
•   Take action to disseminate information in relation to quality control and environmental management and assist with development of corrective actions, as required.
•   Interface with stakeholders, particularly regulatory agencies in respect of quality control and environmental management.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Applicants must hold a university degree in a relevant field, plus postgraduate qualification in Quality Assurance / Management and post graduate training in Environmental Management.
•   The individual should possess a minimum of 8 years working experience
•   Experience in a manufacturing facility will be an asset.
