Job Description

The Governing council of the Ghana Baptist University College, kumasi is inviting application from suitably qualified persons to fill the position of Registrar.

Duties

• The Registrar is the Secretary to the University College. As such he/she is Secretary to the Chancellor, the governing and all statutory committees of the University College
• The Registrar, under the President, is responsible for the day-to-day administration of University college and managing resources, students and other related issues. He/she assist in creating the necessary environment for the pursuit of academic work
• The Registrar is the custodian of the University seal and records

Terms of Appointment

• The appointment is full-time and applicants should not be more than 65 years old by 1st August, 2018
• The salary and conditions attached to the position are very competitive

Qualification Required & Experience

• A good University First Degree and
• A Master's degree
• Attained the grade of Deputy Registrar or served a minimum of 6 years in the grade of senior assistant registrar in a higher educational institution or
• Considerable administrative or managerial experience, of at least 15 years in industry or the public service

Previous relevant working experience in University administration or tertiary institution will be in advantage

Location: Kumasi
