POSITION INFORMATION: Provides assistance to the research Unit by  analyzing research data and producing reports, etc.

REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES

•   Data Collection.  Collects various forms of data pertaining to the research project or projects.
•   Academic Research.  Independently conducts academic research
•   Data Analysis.  Conducts analyses of data.  Interprets, draws conclusions, and discusses
•   Report Preparation.  Prepares various reports containing descriptive, analytical, and evaluative content
•   Collaboration.  Collaborates with other researchers.
•   Material Presentation.  Presents research material to fellow researchers, etc.
•   As Needed.  Performs various duties as needed to successfully fulfill the function of the position.
•   Literature Research.  Conducts research of the literature.

Qualification Required & Experience

To perform the following major duties that include but are not limited to:

•   Conducting data analysis and computations;
•   Writing research reports based upon data results
•   Strong quantitative, research, and data analytic skills
•   Ability to work independently and as part of a team
•   Ability to manage time and pay close attention to detail
•   Proficiency in Microsoft Office
•   Knowledge of statistical software, SPSS, Epinfo, Stata, etc
•   Reading and comprehending research data and other academic  literature;
