The Centre for Scientific Research into Plant Medicine, Mampong-Akuapem is an agency under the Ministry of Health with a mandate to undertake research and development in plant medicine.

DUTIES

•   The successful candidates will conduct research into propagation and sustainable use of medicinal plants.
•   Maintenance of herbarium, arboretum, and medicinal plant farms
•   Supervision of subordinate staff and students on attachment
•   Assist in Training workshops for Herbalist, ete.
•   Any other duties assigned by the Executive Director

SALARY AND CONDITION OF SERVICE

Salary and Conditions of Service shall be subject to the Single Spine Salary Structure and Conditions of Service of Senior Officers of the Centre.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Phd. Degree in Crop Science/plant Breeding with a minimum of two (2) years experience OR M.phil with a minimum of four (4) years experience.
•   A good track record in field work
