The Centre for Plant Medicine Research, Mampong-Akuapem is an agency under the Ministry of Health with a mandate to undertake Research and Development into plant medicine.

DUTIES

• Research into plant systematics and cultivation,
• Identification and cultivation of specific medicinal plants species
• Conservation of medicinal plants species in the arboreta i
• Sourcing of medicinal plants species from the Wild and supervise plant parts inspection
• Quality assurance for the production of medicinal plant products.
• Ensure appropriate documentation and management of research data.
• Disseminate Research findings.
• Any other duties assigned by the Executive Director.

Qualification Required & Experience

• PhD or M.Phil in Botany with a minimum of two (2) years post qualification experience.

SALARY AND CONDITION OF SERVICE

• Shall be subjected to the Single Spine Salary Structure and conditions of Senior Officers of the Centre.
