Job Vacancy For School Administrator



Reports to: Managing Director

Job Purpose:

•   To provide professional leadership and management. Administers the students' lifecycle. Provide administrative support to teachers and staff. Implement policies regarding parent compliant and discipline.  Liaise with directors of school to initiate programs to market and increase enrollment as well as generates income for the school.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

•   Acts as the head of the school responsible for supervising, teaching, and learning
•   Evaluates the school's performance and identifies the priorities for continuous improvement in developing school practices and policies
•   Ensures that resources are effectively and efficiently used to achieve school's aims and objectives
•   Develops and interprets regulations and deal with queries and complaints procedures
•   Communicates with partner institutions, external agencies, government departments, and prospective students
•   Organizes and facilitates a variety of educational and social activities
•   Conducts research in the locality of the school to determine opportunities and draws up a plan geared towards the increase in students' enrollment
•   Builds a strong network of parents and develops excellent relationships with parents, teachers, directors, and other stakeholders of the school.
•   Leads revenue mobilization effort through school business related activities.
•   Develops and implement extra income generating programs and activities for the school.
•   Work with parents to ensure timely payment of school fees.
•   Establishes after school programs that will meet the needs of the parents and students in the locality.
•   Use appropriate and familiar social media to increase engagement and build goodwill between the school, parents and other stakeholders.

Qualification Required & Experience

EDUCATION, REQUIREMENT, AND SKILLS

•   Bachelor of Education or Professional Teacher Certification.
•   Must have more than 3 years' work experience. A Business Development background will be an advantage
•   Effective communication and excellent leadership skills.
•   Must be result oriented, innovative, problem solver, with excellent customer service skills
•   Possesses excellent interpersonal skills and must be able to create and work in a team environment as well as work independently
•   Working experience with Microsoft office suite
•   Must be experienced in the use of  technology and social media
