Position:- Security Guard
Reporting to:- HR/Admin. Manager
Department:- Administration

Main Purpose

The Job holder shall perform as a security guard to the Company in all matters relating to the security of all properties of the Company and shall perform any other task assigned from time to time.

Main Responsibilities

•   You shall be assigned to any duty post that requires security and shall take instructions and perform tasks assigned.
•   Ensure all offices are opened and closed on time and all company spare keys securely kept.
•   You will be responsible for daily maintenance, security of duty post and protection of all company property within the premises.
•   You will check and record all cars moving in and out of the premises and take the appropriate action as may be required.
•   Direct cars, visitors and customers in and out of the premises to the appropriate quarters.
•   Ensure that all problems pertaining to security are reported to the immediate supervisor for appropriate action to be taken.
•   Ensure that all water tanks are filled when the taps are flowing and also see to the operation of generator during black outs.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Education: SSCE or its equivalent from a recognized institution.

Work Experience

•   Must have at least one year working experience as a Security Guard.

•   Stay calm under extreme cases.
•   Having polite manners.
•   Having suitable physical fitness.
•   Being able to work with security equipment.
•   Being able to memorise different faces.
•   Having teamwork skills.
•   Being able to follow instructions.
•   Being patient and flexible
