A reputable freight forwarding and Haulage company in Tema and Takoradi requires the services of an experienced Service Engineer with proven ability of overseeing the installation, repair and upkeep of all company property, including transport equipment (heavy and light duty vehicles) lifting equipment (cranes and forklifts) machines, mechanical systems and other structures, ensuring all activities are carried out on time and at an exceptional standard, primarily ensuring that all company fleet of vehicles and equipment are in good working condition at all times.

The successful applicant will among others:

•   Develop preventive maintenance plans from manufacturer's manual for equipment
•   Oversee the workshop staff in implementing planned and preventive maintenance, in order to meet required performance standards and deadlines
•   Attend promptly to breakdown maintenance
•   Maintain accurate records on all equipment

Qualification Required & Experience

•   The successful candidate must be a degree holder in Mechanical Engineering.
•   Knowledge in QHSE requirements in an added advantage

Experience: Must have worked as a Service Engineer or in a related capacity for at least five (5) years. Prior experience with heavy lift project cargo will be an added advantage

•   Managerial and administrative skills
•   Handling of vehicle electrical systems and fault diagnostics
•   Proven ability in hydraulic system diagnostics and repairs
•   Familiarity with quality control
•   Team player
•   Experience in managing a team and keeping accurate records
•   Ability to drive and must hold a valid Class F driving license
•   The successful applicant will be based in Takoradi

Age: Must not be less than 30 years
