Job Title: Supply Chain Manager

Job Summary

• Direct or coordinate production, purchasing, warehousing, distribution or financial forecasting services or activities to limit costs and improve accuracy, customer services, or safety

Duties and Responsibilities

• Review or update supply chain practices in accordance with new or changing environmental policies, standards, regulations or laws select transportation routes to maximise economy by combining shipments or consolidating warehousing and distribution
• Develop material costs forecasts or standard cost lists
• Implement new or improved supply chain processes
• Assess appropriate material handling equipment needs and staffing levels to load, unload, move or store materials
• Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement, engineering and quality assurance, to identify and select new suppliers
• Define performance metrics for measurement, comparison or evaluation of supply chain factors, such as product cost or quality

Qualification Required & Experience

• A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or its equivalent
• A Master's Degree or a professional qualification will be an added advantage
• Minimum of 10 years working experience in similar field within 5 years being in senior management
