A reputable multi-national agro-industrial company has vacancy for a Utility Technician to join its vibrant team.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Plans maintenance work on utilities equipment
• Maintains work on airconditioners, water chiller and refrigeration equipment, water treatment plant
• Regularly checks log sheets data
• Cuts and welds metal to repair broken metal parts, fabricates new part and assembles new equipment
• Checks water and changes filters as and when necessary
• Does improvement works as directed by supervisor
• In charge of all sewage works
• Does pipe fitting and plumbing works
• Observes the operation of water pumps, electric motors and chemical feed machines, reads various charts, graphs, gauges, and meters, computes from readings and records the water volume pumped
• Walk a route to read and record water usage at water meters, tests meters and replaces as needed
• Fulfills work orders to cut on and cut off service
• Flushes water lines
• Performs general preventive and secheduled maintenance and repairs including cleaning and painting
• Performs any other duties that may be assigned from time to time

Qualification Required & Experience

• An HND in Mechanical Engineering (Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning) or Refrigeration Technician Part III or its equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years professional experience in a manufacturing company
• Chiller expert
• Able to translate technical manual and instructions
• Able to study blueprints and manufacturer's manual to determine correct installation and operation of machinery
• Good knowledge of GMP and hygiene rules
