An International Oil and Gas Service Company operating in Ghana is urgently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Well Engineering Quality Engineer

Job Summary

•   Ensures all drilling materials and tools provided in accordance with recognised industry specifications, and avoid any delays on the drilling programme.
•   Manages processes within Well Engineering Quality Manual and is the custodian of the Well Engineering Quality Manual.
•   Manage Supplier Evaluation Programme
•   Manage Well Engineering Supplier Audit programme
•   Act as Lead Auditor in supplier audits as required Coach other Auditors
•   Manage and provide resource in root cause investigation and closing Failure Investigation Reports (FIRs)
•   Provide analysis and management reporting on trends within ongoing and historic FIRs
•   Manage and provide resource in root cause investigation and closing Non-conformance Reports (NCRs)
•   Provide analysis and management reporting on trends within ongoing and historic NCR's
•   Manage and provide assistance to Completions and Subsea engineering marking up in country Supplier Inspection and Test plans and Supplier QC matrices
•   Manage Rental QC matrix process in Takoradi Ensure Rental QC matrices have been filled in by suppliers and are available for use Engage   with   and   provide   assistance   in   running Supplier Quarterly Performance Reviews (QPR's)
•   Proactively carry out the activities of the job in a safe manner
•   Be responsible for meeting company and related personal objectives
•   Adapt to changes in work practices and job activities
•   Adhere to the values and principles of the company and Code of
•   Conduct at all times
•   Willingly and openly share good practice
•   Adhere to Company management systems and processes
•   Adhere to the relevant Industry standards within work call off /PO requirements.

•   Attention to detail and the ability to perform effectively in a team environment are essential
•   Ability to build relationships and negotiate  with internal and external contacts

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Education: Preferably an  Engineering or Mechanical background to
•   Diploma or Degree Level

Skills/ Experience:

•   Drilling / Subsea background preferred
•   Quality Assurance / Control background essential
•   Highly computer literate
•   Experienced with Excel and Access
•   Excellent organisational skills
•   Excellent customer / client liaison skills
•   Strong communication, self-motivation and interpersonal skills
