Job Summary

Managerial and Administrative functions

•   Assist CEO in the development of a business strategic plan on Operations, Marketing, Human Resource, and Finance
•   See to the execution of all business strategies and policies on Operations, Marketing, Human Resource and Finance
•   Coordinate the day-to-day business operations
•   Work with CEO to prepare a working budget for the entire business
•   Prepare or review budgets for projects
•   Manage all other staff  (both permanent and Part-time)
•   Develop new business opportunities
•   Ensure that the organization operates in a profitable and sustainable manner.

Technical Functions

•   Coordinate and manage all projects undertaken by the organization
•   Provide technical support to other team members to ensure that projects undertaken by the organization are technically sound
•   Act as Principal Investigator on key research programmes
•   Champion and coordinate the dissemination of our research findings and best practices through journal publications, presentation at seminars etc
•   Coordinate training, mentoring and coaching of team members

External Relations

•   Managing key relationships with partner organizations, government  and relevant external bodies
•   Seeking out and pursuing opportunities for the organisation to network across the sector
•   Overseeing public relations for the organisation, including customer relations, media management and all other public affairs
•   Represent the organization in conferences, seminars etc
•   Undertake additional duties as may be assigned by the CEO or deemed necessary for the advancement of the organizational goals

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Bachelors Degree in Statistics, Mathematics or Social Sciences
•   Further post-graduate qualification desirable

Experience:

•   At least  3 years  post-graduation working experience preferably in Research, Monitoring and Evaluation
•   Experience in managing teams and performing administrative functions of an organisation
•   Experience in managing research, monitoring and evaluation projects
•   Experience in providing training
•   Experience in managing business external relations

Skills

•   Qualitative and Quantitative research skills
