The Accountant, Fixed Assets will be responsible for fixed assets management, accounting, controls, and record keeping and to define guidelines for their capitalization under the guidance of company policy, procedures and controls.

Job Title: Accountant

Job Summary

The accountant with the supervision of the Finance Manager will oversee all accounting activities. He will work primarily with members of the accounts team and other line managers and report directly to the head of the accounts department at the secretariat

Main Responsibility and Skills Required

•   Provide accounting and administrative support to the zone
•   collate and submit monthly impress returns from field staff
•   Check/verify to make sure that proper financial reporting is followed by all field staff
•   Assist internal and external audit staff facilitate annual financial audit
•   Make sure that all advanced are cleared in time and make sure that all outstanding balances are properly accounted for.
•   Reconcile accounts and check the accuracy of all entries
