Qualification Required & Experience

•  Applicant must be qualified accountants, such as CA, ACCA, CIMA or must have a Master’s degree in accounting.
•  They must also have a minimum of 5 years post qualification experience in commerce or industry or a reputable audit firm.
•  Familiarity with SUN accounting system will be an advantage

Location:  Takoradi, Western region

Salaries And Other Conditions Of Service

Salaries are negotiable but very attractive and competitive. The duty station for all the above positions will be at Daboase (36 kilometers before Takoradi) in the Western region.

•  Provides solutions to problems presented by lower level staff and recommends changes to accounting system, methods or procedures to management, utilizing knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
•  Maintain customer confidence and confidentiality of all stakeholders as required by statute.
•  Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as outlined.

Qualification Required & Experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

•  Knowledge of accounting principles, corporate finance, practices and procedures.
•  Knowledge of basic leadership practices.
•  Skilled in performing detailed numerical computations.
•  Skill in preparing detailed reports on a timely basis.
•  Good presentation skill.
•  Knowledge of Microsoft Tools.
•  Must be conversant with GAS, IFRS and Accounting Conventions

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field and one year of professional accounting experience; OR, Five years’ professional accounting experience; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
