For growth reasons VisionFund Ghana, an International Microfinance Institution in Ghana is looking for competent persons to fill the following position (Quick placements)
Purpose of the position:
The selected applicant will manage operations at the branch level for a successful delivery of micro-finance service in the catchment area.
Major Responsibilities
• Responsible for building strong teams at branch level to ensure efficient output
• Develop branch operating plan and budgets
• Ensure the planned growth in portfolio size that is underlined by high quality
• Analyse and monitor portfolio performance to guide the development, implementation or updating of credit policies and risk rating guidelines and report findings to the Chief Operating Officer.
Qualification Required & Experience
• A good first degree with experience in Financial Services Delivery (Bank, Rural Bank, Savings & Loans, MFIs)
• A professional qualification or second degree will be desirable
Desirable Personal Qualities
• Ability to communicate and write well in English and widely spoken local languages
• Ability to ride the motor bike
Experience
• Proven experience in managing related field, at least with a minimum of 2 years post qualification experience in a supervisory or managerial position, i.e leading teams to achieve results
• Determined personality with initiative, perseverance and the ability to motivate and manage a team
• Must be a committed and active Christian
• Capability and willingness to take responsibility and highly developed sense of integrity
• Must have excellent communication and organizational skills, pleasant disposition but firm character and passion for rural service
• Must not be more than 40 years
