Key Responsibilities

• Support outreach to be able to attain high standard vehicle quality are at all times
• Check that vehicle is fuelled and in proper running condition before use
• Pick and drop project visitors at the designed areas
• Ensure vehicles are in good working conditions at all times
• Report all damages to fleet officer for necessary action
• Channel all requests for repairs, maintenance and fuel through the Fleet Officer
• Keep daily record of vehicle mileage
• Responsible for the daily maintenance, of vehicle allocated
• Return vehicle to head office, clinic or designated location immediately after approved use
• Assist clinical team in providing service
• Support in community mobilisation
• Support Midwife in registration of clients
• Ensure formal communications with the various health partners are properly documented
• Assist with administrative work when necessary
• Performs other duties as may be assigned by Midwife and or Fleet Officer

Qualification Required & Experience

• Must have a minimum of MSLC/BECE certificate
• Knowledge in auto mechanic will be an advantage
• Basic knowledge and skills in computer application such as Microsoft Word, excel, power point etc

Skill and Experience

• Good interpersonal skills
• Fair written and verbal communication skills
• Must have skills in vehicle care and maintenance
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, excel, power point)
• Work experience with Ghana Health Service and or a health related INGO
• Articulate and pays attention to detail

• Must have requisite experience in customer relation

• Assess and prompts the administration officer on the renewal of road worthy and insurance certificates

General Services

• Runs errands for the project/office e.g delivery of letters/messages, payment of bills and makes minor purchases of office supplies
• Supports other colleagues in case of need, and does other office work as assigned
• Assists in and/or carries out other activities and any tasks as assigned by the line manager
