ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•   The Fleet Officer will report to the Technical Director. He/She will be responsible for following main activities :
•   Responsible for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repairs of the Company’s fleet;
•   Maintain databases of sales, registrations, inspections and maintenance of the Company’s fleet;
•   Counsel users of Company’s vehicles;
•   Monitor, implement, and ensure adherence to policies and procedures of the Company, and statute rules and regulations;
•   Plan, develop and execute vehicle replacement schedule;
•   Streamline and monitor fuel purchase system and consumption;
•   Monitor the tracking system of all Company vehicles;
•   Negotiate and establish repair cost or parts pricing with commercial vendors;

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Minimum HND Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years’ work experience in a technical and similar role.
•   Experience in the automotive industry.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Strong  ability to manage process plant instrumentation and electrical equipment maintenance;
•   Sound  process  plant business acumen and ability to influence main cost drivers to achieve      set objectives;
•   Strong computer skills in Microsoft office, Ms project, and working experience in planned
maintenance  software packages;
•   High technical ability in problem solving and failure analysis capabilities with special emphasis on field instruments, PLCs, Scada and data control systems;
•   Must be able to read, interpret and troubleshoot electrical schematics/drawings;
•   Leadership experience and thorough understanding of good engineering practices;
•   Must be able to prepare and work within budget sand timelines;
