Responsibilities:

•   The Planning Engineer (Specialist) will be responsible for all planning and project development functions of NEDCo’s PIU as well as supervision of the planning section staff therein.
•   The Planning Engineer will report to the Project Manager and will support NEDCo to ensure the NEDCo distribution network, system and projects planning requirements are developed, implemented and managed efficiently and effectively.
•   The Planning Engineer will prepared annual work plans, monthly and quarterly progress reports for approval by the Project Director as well as annual reports on assignment outputs and end-of-assignment report that is to be signed off by the Project Director.
•   The Planning Engineer will also establish close and cooperative working relationships with the heads of other sections of the PIU and NEDCo’s Director, Engineering Services who is the Project Director for all the NEDCo projects.
•   Undertake any other responsibility that will ensure smooth and effective implementation of NEDCO’s projects.
