The OMM is responsible for the marketing and operational success of the hotel and ensuring guest satisfaction and service quality standards are met.

Job Summary

Reporting directly to the General Manager of the Hotel, the OMM will be responsible to:

•   Develops and implements marketing and sales plans based on demand segments and to maximize revenue and Market Share.
•   Ability to conduct competitors’ research analysis for each demand segment.
•   Ensures that marketing and sales plans are appropriate for each sales period, including special plans to maximize room revenue during forecasted low occupancy.
•   Knowledge of key accounts and actively “sells” through sales calls, property tours, etc.
•   Maintains a positive cooperative work environment between staff and management.
•   Ensures all hotel employees know hotel objectives.
•   Ensures personnel files are accurate and comply with the labour laws and regulations.
•   Ensures employee training objective and developments plans are completed.
•   Recognises and corrects potential safety and security hazards
•   Maintains physical product standards by managing preventive maintenance programs and by scheduling deep-cleaning activities.
•   Ensures property quality audits and periodically inspect rooms, building exterior, parking lot

Qualification Required & Experience

•   The successful candidate must have 3 – 5 years working experience in management positions, preferably, in similar hospitality fields (preferably 3 – 5 star hotels).
•   A degree or equivalent in Tourism, Hospitality Management or related field is required.
•   Job Hoppers will not be considered.

Skills

•   The position requires multi experience in business management, finance and project management.
•   The candidate must have excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills and must be proficient in Microsoft Office and hotel management.
•   Knowledge in accounting systems is an added advantage.
•   The candidate must possess abilities of planning and meeting deadlines with energy and willpower to go the extra mile.
