A growing Hotel in Kasoa which is undergoing expansion is seeking to recruit a dedicated, resourceful and results-oriented person to lead its team.
Key Responsibilities
• Reporting to the Managing Director
• Planning and organising accomodation, catering and other hotel services
• Ensuring events and conferences run smoothly
• Promoting and marketing of the hotel
• Setting sales targets and devising marketing stategies to ensure they are achieved
• Preparing, managing and controlling budgets and financial plans
• Maintaining statistical and financial records
• Recruiting, training, monitoring and planning work schedules for individuals and teams
• Dealing with customer complaints and comments, troubleshooting and addressing them
• Carrying out routine inspections of properties and services to ensure they are in good order at all times
• Ensuring adequate, effective and efficient security is provided at all times
• Ensuring strict compliance with statutory, licensing, health and safety laws and regulations
Qualification Required & Experience
The minimum requirements for this position are:
• Postgraduate Diploma in Hotel Management or Degree in Hotel Management
• 5 years minimum working experience as a Hotel Manager
• A certificate from the Ghana Tourist Board in Hotel Management will be an advantage
Competencies
• Candidate must have a sound and in-depth knowledge in the licensing requirements of hotel and catering industry in Ghana
• Must be competent in the application of a recognised selling skills process
• Excellent communication, persentation, negotiation and persuasive skills
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work independently as well as in teams
• Excellent planning and organisational skills
• Self-motivated with a demonstration of initiative
• computer literate in MS Office
