Job Title: Human Resources Manager

Key Responsibilities

• To ensure that the HR operational policies and processes are adhered to and continually improved
• To assist in all activities concerning sourcing & recruitment of staff, performance management, staff discipline and HR administration
• To Coordinate and /or conduct departmental training and conduct new hire hotel orientation programme
• Formulate and implement corporate policies and assist HOD’s to formulate HR policies and procedures for their respective departments
• Continually assess employee morale by analysing absenteeism and turnover records, lateness and resignations
• Conduct needs analysis, develop, implement and monitor training programmes and materials
• Encourages good standards of employee conduct and behaviour and coordinate disciplinary procedures as and when necessary
• Ensure appraisals are carried out for every employee as per the management policy, review all appraisals and follows up on development needs, if required
• Assists with and ensures that all procedures concerning promotion, transfer and staff resignation is carried on within company policy and legal boundaries
• Provide guidance to the leadership team regarding employee morale, employee relations, coaching, counselling and discipline
• Oversee the management of the recruiting process, including position management, advertising and working with community agencies

Qualification Required & Experience

• Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Master’s Degree in a related field is an added advantage
• 5 years of Human Resources Management experience preferably in the hospitality industry and minimum experience of one of two years in a 4-Star or 5-Star hotel
