Our company is leading investment banking institution in Ghana with over three decades of continuous operations to its credit and seeks to engage competent professionals into the following position: Manager, Information Technology (IT)
Key Responsibilities
The Manager, IT, reports directly to the Managing Director and is responsible for:
• The provision of timely and cost effective IT support to the company and all its businesses
• The overall IT infrastructure design, development & application of software/systems for the achievement of corporate goals
• The maintenance of the organisation’s effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies
• Providing strategic IT support in the areas of supervising the design and implementation of robust software, technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organisation outcomes and trends
Qualification Required & Experience
The position requires a candidate with
• A master’s degree in Computer Science / Engineering, Management Information systems or related field
• 7 years relevant work experience with at least 3 years in an IT managerial role
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of network/hardware/software protocols and standards
• Demonstrated experience in application support with proven knowledge in IT infrastructure planning and development
• Ability to lead and inspire teams to achieve set goals
• Tenacity: Ability to persist in overcoming obstacles to success
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
