Job Summary
 
The job description includes, but not limited to the following:

•   Develop and implement marketing strategies, in conjunction with the General Manager
•   Analyze industry trends and be prepared for emergent marketing strategies
•   Develop and implement an events calendar for every year
•   Identify unclaimed markets and develop strategies for getting a share of those markets
•   Research competitors products and services to give the hotel a competitive edge in the industry
•   Generate specific sales reports when needed
•   Keep a database of hotel clients and maintain a healthy working relationship with them all
•   Keep sales operations well within budget
•   Manage all activities of the sales department
•   Responsible for duty scheduling of the sales team
