Description Of Job

The Marketing Coordinator will support Ipas in-country team in ensuring that appropriate product for service delivery is available at Ipas intervention facilities.

He/She will spend approximately 60% of his/her time for travel.

Duties and Responsibilities:

•  Marketing and Sales of a Healthcare Product within a project’s intervention Regions in Ghana
•  Engage with Procurement Officers/Facility Supervisors/distributors to ensure availability and sustainable supply of the Product at the intervention sites
•  Monitor the use of the product and correct any variations, also educate the market on the appropriate use of the product
•  Demonstration of results-orientation, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
•  The ideal candidate must be a motivated self-starter, possess strong communication skills, have a high degree of personal integrity and be driven for success

The duty station for position is Accra, Ghana, and the offer will be on a one/two years renewable contract basis, subject to good performance and availability of funds. Remuneration will be based on qualification and experience, commensurate with industry standards

Qualification Required & Experience

•  A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Marketing Management
•  Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK)-Professional Diploma in Marketing
•  An experience in Sales/Marketing of Healthcare Products will be an added advantage
