•   Plan weekend work for subordinates and parade the correct people for a specific job

•   The respective personnel must be conversant with electricity in his area of responsibility
•   He must complete the times sheets correctly and submit them to the time administration when required
•   He will be responsible for the recognized on-the-job safety of subordinates reporting to him

Qualification Required & Experience

Reports to: Zone Materials Manager

Purpose of Position:
The Warehouse Supervisor/Lead is responsible for efficient management of material planning, receipt, control and issue within the zone to ensure availability of material and parts in direct support of ongoing drilling operation. This role reports to the Zone Materials Manager and may supervise a team of warehouse clerks. The incumbent will ensure compliance with regulations and BLY policies. Key measurements of success include: Inventory turns, forecast accuracy, on-time delivery and inventory accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

•   Ensures that on hand stock levels are appropriate for the business so that material is available for uninterrupted operations without excessive dollars tied up in inventory or the supply chain. Maintains accurate min/max levels and managers slow-moving/obsolete inventory
•   Responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the forecast. Generates both long and short-term inventory forecasts through analysis of historical demand and rig utilization, future contracts, and collaboration with the operations and fleet teams
•   Responsible for inventory accuracy by ensuring effective receipt and issue practices, physical delivery of material to rig site if required
•   Coordinates with operations and fleet teams to input and fulfill orders for material, including delivery of material to rig site if required
•   Responsible for international import/export of material. Ensures compliance with all regulations and BLY policies including documentation, packing, shipping and reporting
•   Ensures compliance to BLY EH&S policies and guidance regarding material handling techniques, hazardous material storage and shipment
•   Other related inventory tasks as directed by the Zone Materials Manager

Qualification Required & Experience

Qualification, Knowledge, Experience, Skills and Personal Attributes:

•   Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
•   5+ years demonstrated experience in Supply Chain, Inventory Management, or Procurement
•   Experience and possess knowledge of inventory management principles and processes
