Working in a safe and efficient manner to maintain a constant rate of pipe delivery in compliance with company’s Tubular Running Service Competence Assurance System to maintain integrity of the client’s wells.
•   Operate power and handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner to maintain a constant rate of pipe delivery (Internal/External customers), in accordance with approved industry standards, safety and quality procedures, legislation and within the scope of the technician’s qualifications and competencies to meet customer’s work requirements
•   Contact Operations office on a daily basis or as instructed to receive job and check-in details.  Additionally, attend pre and post job briefings as instructed to ensure the communication of issues and information is facilitated.  Additionally, attend industry and company training as instructed and required by Company, industry or clients
•   Other auxiliary offshore duties such as cleaning of tongs, stowing of hoses and other housekeeping/maintenance duties in a safe manner as directed and supervised by the Crew Chief, provided the instruction is reasonable and you are capable and deemed competent to fulfil these
•   Any other delegated responsibilities as instructed by Line Management, including crew chief, within the timeframe specified in a safe and efficient manner to meet business requirements, provided the instruction is reasonable and you are capable and deemed competent to fulfil these
•   Lead and supervise workshop safety & toolbox meetings, participate actively and contribute to workshop specific safety initiatives, report all hazards and unsafe acts and ensure third party compliance
•   Complete understanding of the functionality of Manual handling equipment, Power Equipment, Bucking Units and Thread Monitoring Systems, Rig Systems Solutions Services and Total Depth Solutions Services
•   Supervise the rig up & down Casing and Tubing Running Equipment following TRS Work Instructions and procedures.
•   Work to support the Well Site Supervisor with scheduled and unscheduled operations and Plan Well Site Services according to requirements
•   Supervise service crews, ensuring that crews are well balanced, work hours are planned and business unit requirements such as reporting and training and competency programs are addressed and completed
•   Responsible for complying with company’s and Clients HSE policies whilst ensuring co-workers carry outwork in safe manner.
•   Perform service and delegate requirement for the maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic and electronic components of mechanical handling tools and torque turn monitoring systems
•   Demonstrate a commitment to growth and continuous improvement of TRS and WFT through our EEP process

Qualification Required & Experience

•   An HND or equivalent is preferred
•   Qualification covering Competence objectives of TRS Operations Level 1
•   3 – 7 Years minimum proven field experience in Rig Floor / Tubular Handling and Running Operations
•   Must be able to competently operate and perform basic preventive maintenance with minimal supervision on all Casing and Tubular Running equipment

•   Liaise with Operations Manager/ FPSO Managers / Project and Contractor Managers with regard to brownfield project works.
•   Liaise with Operations and Contractor engineering staff to ensure correct technical outcomes and ensure that the appropriate project learnings are made available to the Jubilee Asset.
•   Be the Jubilee Asset focal point for all operations and maintenance input into Phase 1A, Full Field Development (FFD), Gas export system (including TEN tie-in) and all other in-field project work.
•   Report all inconsistencies to the Operations and Project Managers.
•   Demonstrate commitment to the Company’s safety and operational policies through leadership and guidance.
•   In coordination with the Projects & Engineering Manager analyze field systems` requirements and client specifications to establish improved functionality and systems` performance
•   Review and verify technical documentations to ensure that all interfaces are defined and aligned.
•   Develop an interface matrix to ensure that all technical scopes are defined and assured.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   A graduate professional in an engineering discipline or equivalent, with experience in either maintenance or field engineering, preferably in an offshore environment
•   Chartered or Professional Engineer or equivalent (Mechanical /Process/Chemical)
•   Extensive industry experience may be used to offset qualifications

Experience:

•   Experience in offshore/onshore oil and gas operations specifically acting as an Operations Team Leader/ OIM/Manager. FPSO experience preferred.
•   Familiar with Operational Readiness and Assurance (OR&A)process (pre-operations process) for Brownfield/Project work.
•   Ability to influence and direct constructive progress (project/ops/contractor interfacing) and present to management.

Skills:

•   Broad experience in a suitable arena ideally including oil & gas Production Operations and Project Execution.
•   Experience of FPSOs and brownfield modifications preferred.
•   Knowledge of the full range of process systems of all disciplines and equipment used in the offshore hydrocarbon industry.
•   Working knowledge of all relevant engineering document and drawing types, and ‘engineering office’ document control practices.
•   Familiar with relevant local and international engineering codes, standards and practices.
•   Proficient use of ‘standard’ office tools – word processors, spreadsheets, time management etc
•   Ability to communicate clearly on technical engineering matters.

Purpose

General Responsibilities

Specific Responsibilities

Operational Support

The Graduate Well Cost Engineer will be responsible for learning to conduct the following operational activities. During the training process it is expected that the trainee will take responsibility for these activities when they are suitably competent to do so.

•   Compile daily value of work done figures for all Well Engineering operations.
•   Maintain comprehensive cost records.
•   Comprehensive reconciliation of Final Well Costs vs AFE.
•   Responsible for tracking all costs/expenditure against all AFE’s.
•   Assist in preparation of future drilling cost estimates and well AFE’s using historical cost information and industry knowledge.
•   Ensure that Drilling Department cost records reconcile with official Finance ledgers.
•   Ensure that allocations provided by Finance Team are reviewed, approved and incorporated into drilling cost records.
•   Assist in the management of rig and service contracts and assist with the pre approval of contractors’ invoices.
•   Provide cost data as required for routine Well Engineering Cost Reports.
•   Provide forecast to complete information as and when required.
•   Provide monthly accruals to Finance for all Well Engineering activities.
•   Maintain and develop cost breakdown structure as required.
•   Raise SAP Requisitions for Good and Services as required.
•   Report SAP Contractor reports and PR / PO ledgers.
•   Provide pro-former invoice SAP input provide the three way matching
•   Become a department SAP Superuser
•   Assist contract holders with contract support and invoice handling.

Relationships

•   Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders, service companies, other operators in Ghana and GNPC.
•   Mentor and develop staff.

Training

•   Trainee to managing their time effectively.
•   Trainee must working to the correct standards – this role requires 100% accuracy and diligence..
•   Trainee will be trained in Well Engineering and Rig Operations to fully appreciate and understand the drilling process and the importance of costs and invoice control process.
•   Trainee will be given 3rd party supplier training as required.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Fluent in English both written and spoken.
•   Interpersonal skills necessary to establish good working relationships with WE team.
•   Degree in engineering / business administration and relevant industry experience.
•   High proficiency in IT and industry software including:

•   MS Suite
•   Maximo

Experience

•   Responsible for the safe execution of rigging and lifting activities in support of the construction work program in accordance with the relevant legislation, company and project procedures, barricading the working area to prevent other people to pass by, perform visual inspection on rigging equipment and report any defective items (inadequate / missing colour code, damages), ensuring work permit is open and displayed on ste. If the permit is not available and fully completed, no rigging  lifting work is allowed

Qualification Required & Experience

Essential Requirements

•   Minimum of 400 days Rigging Experience, OPITO approved Offshore slinging and Lifting certificate or equivalent
