• Ensure lesson plans show modifications for differences in student learning styles.
• Teach subjects according to guidelines established by school policies and administrative regulations.
• Prepare pupils/students for all internal and external examinations.
• Implement appropriate instructional and learning strategies to include various learning styles and ensure pupils/student comprehension.
• Explain new ideas and unfamiliar concepts with authority and in a clear and concise way so that pupils/students can understand.
• Explore different learning styles to get the most out of each student and ensure to keep the pupils/students’ attention when teaching.
• Collaborate with Vice Principal for Academic to determine requirements for the instructional goals, objectives and methods.
• Help students assess and enhance their study methods and habits.
• Find creative ways to actively involve students in lessons.
• Have patience to support students who act out or have trouble following lessons.
• Serve as a role model for students.
• Prepare the classroom to enhance teaching and learning and to aid in the physical, social and emotional development of students.
• Control student behaviour using appropriate and acceptable methods of discipline.
• Any other responsibilities as assigned by the Academic head.

Qualification Required & Experience

• Must possess at least Two or more years of teaching experience.
• Must possess a degree in Education with specialization in Mathematics.
• Must have a successful track record of teaching and preparing students in JHS and SHS three to pass examinations.
