MODEC Ghana Limited is a limited liability company, incorporated under the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Our core business is to provide operations and maintenance support to oil field companies. Main Duties:

•   Provide supervisory & onboard management guidance for the protection of Employees, Contractors and Vendors, to ensure the safety of all personnel who are involved in the maintenance, operation or installation of electrical equipment for the FPSO electrical systems.
•   Supervising the FPSO operational in areas of own specialty, including drafting working procedures, maintenance programs, and providing associated logistic support Propose and develops maintenance methods tools in own area of competence, analyses the works and practices, and suggests ways of optimization
•   Assist and drive areas for Develop & implement Electrical Maintenance Best Practices and Proactive Maintenance strategies
•   Provide day to day maintenance supervision for electrical offshore equipment issues.This will include resolving problems and making improvements, assist in work planning and management of electric equipment work scopes through the maintenance management system and interfacing between offshore / offshore teams and vendors.
•   Completing and maintaining all documentation associated with electrical distribution switching operations,    maintenance as required for all management of change engineering & software change requests and maintenance operational work activities such as electrical load lists, input/output lists, single line diagrams, instrumentation and electrical equipment datasheets, specifications, standards, regulatory requirements.
•   Complete all work activities in accordance with the MODEC Ghana standards, procedures and specifications, as well as any applicable local government regulatory requirements as identified by the country of Ghana.

Technical Integrity:

•   Manage and carry out first line maintenance activities as the relevant Discipline Supervise electrical maintenance on the process and utilities plant in a safe and efficient manner, in compliance wrth statutory requirements,
•   Maintain complete and accurate records within the Maintenance Management System.
•   Adhere to all legislative, environmental and company standards and procedures.

Innovations/Knowledge Transfer:

•   Identify and propose ideas and solutions that will increase efficiency and cut cost or time without loss of integrity and present idea(s) to relevant management.
•   Manage electrical team performance by sharing knowledge and best practices.

Team Working:

•   Adopt flexible working attitude to provide support across departments to ensure team success.
•   Conduct work group / toolbox briefings.
•   Create, maintain & enhance effective working relations and identify & minimise interpersonal conflict
•   Maintain effective communication with Supervisors and other work groups.

Communications/Reporting:

•   Manage and report any defect or inspection report to relevant HOD in a clear and concise manner and record all relevant information in logs as required.
•   Ensure a safe and comprehensive handover is given at shift or crew change wrth all pertinent operational and maintenance information to relevant personnel.
•   Provide required input to vessel meetings, planning, initiatives etc.

Health and Safety Responsibilities:

•   Ensure all work is conducted in full compliance with the Safety Management System, including vessel safety regulations and positively support all safety initiatives and improvements
•   Proactively contribute to delivery against HSE plans and improvement objectives.
•   Be aware of physical condition of plant & equipment to ensure electrical technical integrity is maintained; raise issues and concerns identified.
