A NGO based in Chorkor is seeking individuals to tutor and mentor children from Class KG- through JHS.

Responsibilities include:

•   Facilitate the activities  ( in school and after school) of young people  under the organization sponsorship program
•   Lead a group/class of students
•   Assist children with their homework (in all subjects)
•   Tutor children particularly in Math and/or English
•   Plan and implement non-academic group activities (instrumental music, dance, art, sewing, braiding, bead making, etc.)
•   Record keeping (attendance, grades, incidents reports, etc.)
•   Social work (carry out home visits, school visits and outreach to recruit new young people)
•   Being a Team Player

Qualification Required & Experience

•   While not mandatory, preference is shown to those who have recently completed National Service, holding bachelor’s degrees in the arts or social sciences and/or a teaching certificate.
•   Must be available for immediate hire.
