A reputable Financial Institution (non-bank) is seeking to recruit qualified individuals to the following position:- Motor Surveyor

Duties

•   Inspect damaged motor vehicles to determine the cause, nature and extent of damage to same
•   Liaise with vehicle repair workshops/garages on how damaged vehicles will be repaired and to determine the associated repair cost.
•   Liaise with vehicle repair workshops/garages to ensure that agreed repair works have been carried out on the vehicles
•   Conduct market surveys to verify prices of spare parts and vehicles
•   Vet and revise vehicle repair estimates and submit reports for claim settlement negotiations
•   Advise on technical issues relating to motor vehicles
•   Prepare and submit reports on the above stated matters
•   Perform and other duties that maybe assigned from time to time

Qualification Required & Experience

•   City and Guilds Full Technology Certificate (i.e Technician Certificate Parts I to III)
•   Have a minimum of two (2) years relevant experience in the field of vehicle inspection and repairs
•   Have  a Bachelor's Degree or Higher National (HND) in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering

•   Be computer literate and have excellent data management skills

•   Have the capacity to work under pressure and travel outside place of work on short notices

Age Limit: Applicants must be between the ages  of 30 to 40 years and must be energetic
