Job Vacancy For Subsea Offshore Supervisor



Job Purpose

The Subsea Offshore Supervisor is responsible for the maintenance and operation of the company's equipment, providing immediate technical expertise and guidance on all aspects of equipment specification, operation and installation throughout the following range of the company's specialty product line:

• FIS - Flow Intervention System
• FAM - Flow Access Module, including target Tee
• Decom equipment

Experienced in the installation of subsea equipment in water depths up to 3,00m and working pressures of 15,00psi, demonstrate track history in vessel / rig based liquid intervention operations, competent in the operation and fault finding of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems. The SOS is a team leader and shall set his teams safety and operational objectives, seek operational efficiencies and is responsible for instilling first class safety culture throughout all phases of onshore and offshore work

• Winch operation
• Electrohydraulic controls system
• Subsea installation & operations
• Well control level 1
• Liquid intervention

• Ensure smooth progress of projects
• Interfacing with colleagues/clients
• Responsible for on time delivery of work
• Ensure all workshop activities carried out in accordance with company procedures
• Ensure that workshop housekeeping is a of a high level at all times
• Ensure that company safety and environmental procedures are met
• Perform other duties as deemed appropriate by line manager

Qualification Required & Experience

• Technical Diploma N6 or National Diploma S4 or equivalent
• Fitter and Turner or Millwright
• Qualification in Mechanical / Mechatronics/Electro Mechanics Engineering
• Hydraulic courses / certifications

Essential

• Experience in a similar workshop management environment
• Experience in a Hydraulic environment
• Hands on experience
• Hydrualic knowledge
• Minimum 5 years offshore experience
