Title: Head of Unit, Monitoring & Inspection
Reports To: Head of Unit, Monitoring & Inspection

Job Summary: Supports the Head of Unit in executing inspection and monitoring strategies across gold operations. Conducts field verifications, ensures regulatory compliance, and assists in enforcing documentation and trading standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections across mining, refining, and trading points to assess compliance.
• Investigate reported breaches and verify documentation related to gold sourcing and movement.
• Support coordination with regulators and security agencies on field monitoring efforts.
• Maintain accurate reports of inspection activities and recommend enforcement actions.
• Assist in the development and refinement of monitoring tools and frameworks.

Qualification Required & Experience

Skills and Qualification Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mining, Compliance, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years’ experience in compliance monitoring, regulatory inspections, or audit roles.
• Strong understanding of gold sector dynamics and regulatory frameworks.
• Skilled in documentation review, field verification, and reporting.
• High attention to detail, ethical standards, and analytical problem-solving skills.
