Job Vacancy For Accounts Officer
Job Description:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Post transactions into accounting software or ledgers. Accounts Payable & Receivable.
• Prepare, process, and reconcile supplier invoices and payments.
• Track customer invoices, follow up on receivables, and issue receipts.
• Reconcile bank statements with company records.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Update journal entries and ensure accuracy in accounts.
• Assist in budget preparation and monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, company policies, and accounting standards.
• Prepare statutory returns (e.g., VAT, PAYE, withholding tax where applicable).
Qualification Required & Experience
• HND, Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certification (or part qualification) such as ACCA, ICA (Ghana), CIMA, or CPA is an added advantage.
