Job Summary
• Implement approved strategies / plans for the Estate Management Department to ensure achievement of targeted objectives
• Implement approved approval policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), work plans and other monitoring mechanisms in managing the company's estate / undeveloped lands
• liaise with the Marketing and Sales Team in opening files for customers to facilitate after sales services / operations
• Handle correspondences and direct complaints from estate owners on matters relating to their lease agreements and related issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Implement approved programmes / schedules for conducting monitoring and inspections on company undeveloped lands, buildings and estates
• Organise and coordinate the activities of the task force to ensure effective patrols of company undeveloped and lands and estates to prevent encroachment and other illegal activities
• liaise with valuers to conduct valuation / re-valuation exercise of completed / uncompleted houses for sales to facilitate decision making
• Review demand notices prepared by subordinates for ground rent and other property levies, in line with approved policies and guidelines
• Supervise estate officers to ensure timely collections of all approved fees / levies (e.g. encroachment levies, ground rents, land lease fees, extension fees, etc)from company customers in line with approved policies and guidelines
• Implement approved debt recovery strategies and programme on defaulters
• Lead the conduct of periodic physical counts f all buildings to update database and facilitate management decision
• Maintain and update accurate records and documentation on the company's estates to ensure effective property management inventory
• Engage with leaseholders and the public to promote good relations and compliance
• Perform any other duties assigned by your superior
Qualification Required & Experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Land Economy, Estate Management or equivalent qualification in related field
• Master's degree in Land Economy, Estate Management or equivalent qualification in relate field
• Membership of a relevant professional body in an advantage
Experience
• 6 years of relevant working experience in related role
